Oh Lord, is this a termite?

There's two feet of snow on the ground, but I'm getting these flying bugs in the kitchen, little black bodies with clear black wings, they're showing up upstairs as well, but upstairs, they look more like gnats. If it is what I dread, has anyone used any green solutions to getting rid of them, can you recommend a company, I can't tolerate the toxicity commonly used. And I'll have to wait for the thaw before I have anyone come out here, correct, I don't trust anyone as it is, and what can they tell with all this snow on the ground (feel free to contradict me if I'm wrong, and thank you!_
