Why does government screw up everything?

I mean they run the best military in the world..inspect our food..heck they even put a man on the moon! With those qualifications how could we trust them with health care? But if they do put my great grandma on a death panel I wouldn't care..she never gave me no money on my birthday! How can we trust the government my pa that graduated 5th grade has much better smarts...he even said one day Ill be as good as him..God bless everyone amen
