Becoming a midwife, help?

Hi there, I am 21 and have a 2yo daughter. I have always wanted to become a midwife but i never got the Standard Grades in school (Scotland). I got: English 3, Maths 5, French 3, Administration 2 (higher), Art 2, History 3, Chemistry 4 and Biology 4. Bad i know. I hated school. So what can i do now to fullfill my dream? I live in a very remote area in Scotland (dont we all ha!) and would be 2 hours from my home to the nearest Uni. I have a local college but don't think they do widwifery. Can you do open learning? What do i need to do now? Any advice would be fab thanks very much. xx
