How do you find a credible credit lawyer?

I understand that a credit lawyer can help ease certain "injustices" on your credit report. How would you go about finding a credible local lawyer to employ, other than opening the phone book, which, obviously, would be a crapshoot? Is there, perhaps, some sort of National Credit Lawyers ociation that I can reference for local lawyers? I'm wary of these "We fix your credit" advertisements, and ume they're all scams.
