Do you think that Atheism has become a kind of religion in itself, stemming from an anger...?

towards what seems like retrograde ideals that appear to be detrimental to the progress of mankind, and that create division, hatred and disharmony rather than peace and prosperity? A word for a belief system that is anti a belief system could only make sense in a world where everything needs to be labelled and categorised and in which there exists conflict. Atheists are non-believers that are desperate and angry about the lack of proof whereas believers don't need proof but walk blindly like sheep and call it faith! But religious and anti-religious factions are prepared to shoot somebody in the face (not necessarily literally, but the anger that is evoked would suggest so) if they don't believe in exactly the same way! Your thoughts please as I feel I have lost the point, which I think is: Why can't we all just get along?!
