Would I be frowned upon for converting from Catholicism to Congregationalism?

As long as you still accept Christ as your Savior and follow what the Bible says you will be a Christian, you don't have to do all the other things that the Catholic Church tells you you have to do to get into heaven. Your Faith is in Christ, not the Catholic Church.
