Why does it seem Hillary is more intent on making Obama look bad than she is about running her own campaign?

First of all I just want to point out that an election is, or at least should not be in any way, shape or form about what any of the candidates did, opposed, and/or said. What Americans are concerned about is what each of the candidated WILL do if elected now, which Obama made very clear during the most recent debate. And yet somehow it seems that Clinton consistently brought up Obama's past record as if any of that made a difference in lieu of the very specific plan he outlined. I will admit that I did not get to see the actual debate, but I certainly saw clips of it on youtube, and from what I saw Clinton likewise made absolutely no reference to anything specific she would do if elected but instead spent the majority of the debate criticizing Obama. Also, Hillary claims that her campaign and/or anyone connected to it never claimed that Obama did not oppose the war in Iraq, when Obama specifically pointed out that Bill Clinton made that accusation prior to Hillary's claim.
