The realand only one professor Van Helsing (the fearless Vampire killer)?

...without a doubt, that would be Peter Cushing's interpretation of the role; in the numerous films, where he performed the character, he exuded a distinct obsession with destroying Count Dracula and his countless vampiric disciples....seemingly making this his life's mission....with a certain cold and indomitable skill &e determination. I'd be curious, on day, to find out why his specific characterization is so obsessed with the destruction and eradication of the undead (...i.e., perhaps he had family members afflicted with vampirism, and had to destroy them...)
