I don't understand this? Please explain!?

my grandmother is a JW, but my mom is a christian. so i dont fully believe that just because the parents have a certain religion that the children will automatically follow. becuase once they mature and find their own path, they change. children have no choice becuase their naive and young, but once they age, they start to see the real picture.
